      ...I first made these dishes many years ago as a special order for a Spanish customer in which to serve paella [Spanish saffron-flavoured seafood or chicken dish]. I still call it a paella server but most folks use it for a wide variety of things such as a salad bowl, nacho dish ...and also putting water in it with floating candles as a table center piece.
