Majored in Ceramic Design at "Alberta College of Art and Design"
Calgary Alberta (1971 - 74).
- 1975 started full-time (self employed) at "Pottery West " (Edmonton, Alta.) where lines of functional and decorative items were developed. This was the start of marketing my pottery through galleries and craft shops.
- 1976 had (juried) pieces exhibited in the "National Ceramics Show" at the Glenbow Institute in Calgary, Alta.
- 1977 participated in the 3rd "Alberta Ceramics Symposium", Red Deer Alberta. An exhibit of production and one-of-a-kind wares were shown at Chapman Gallery in conjunction with the Symposium.
- 1978 had (juried) pieces exhibited as part of "The Fine Art of Alberta Craft", a project of festival 78' - the arts and culture program of the XI Commonwealth Games.

1979 pottery shown in "Edmonton Clay Works" ...an exhibition of sculptural and decorative works in clay. Latitude 53 Gallery (Society of Artists).
- 1979 pottery shown in "The Works" ...an invitational exhibition and sale hosted by the Student Union Gallery - "University of Alberta", Edmonton.
- 1979 one of four person show at Bearclaw Gallery, Edmonton.
- 1980 had (juried) piece selected for "Alberta Ceramics Showcase '80"
- 1981 had (juried) pieces exhibited in "Variations in Vessels" at Muttart Gallery, Calgary.
- 1982 left Pottery West to set up a home-based studio.
- 1983 invited to show works at "Souffle Designs", Edmonton.
- 1984-94 concentrated mainly on developing new production lines, techniques, glazes, marketing, etc.
- 1992 started new workshop as co-owner of "Parkdale Pottery Studio", Edmonton.
- 1995 renewed focus on doing more one-of-a-kind pottery and a little less on production ware.
- 1996 show pieces exhibited at Johnson Gallery in conjunction with "FireWorks 96" Ceramic Seminar.
- 1997 we sold Parkdale Studio and I constructed my home studio where I currently work.
- 1998 I was invited to show some of my three dimensional digitally rendered computer graphic claywork scenes at the Craft Victoria Gallery, Melbourne Australia, as part of the Australian "Next Wave Festival".
- 2000 one of the founding members of "High Level Potters and Friends". The name originally comes from Edmonton's landmark High Level Bridge and as a small group we show and sell quality clay work directly to the public twice a year. More about this can be found on the website "events" page.
- 2000 several carved pieces were showcased at Klondike Days Exposition, Edmonton.
- 2000 a few carved pieces were displayed at the Nuova Opera Society fundraising auction in Edmonton.
- 2001 showed one-off pottery at Profiles Gallery, St. Albert in their juried members show.
- 2002 carved tiles (set of four) were sent to be installed as part of the International Potter's Path in Wales.
- 2002-2006 mainly focused on filling studio productionware and one-off orders
Participating in gallery shows and private sales over the course of my potting career has resulted in my pottery going into many collections nationally and internationally.
